Our Perfect Day!

After 31/2 years of knowing each other/dating and being best friends and three months of being engaged.... the day finally came!!! I can honestly say it was everything I imagined!!

It started at 6 am, I had to wake up early so that i could get my hair and make up done. My sister Ivy had slept over so that she could wake up to do my make up, my brothers fiance Melissa came over around 6am so that she could do my hair and my moms. Also around seven my best friend Natacia showed up to just be by my side and help me with everything else. It was a mad house! I got ready just in time! Pete showed up at about 7:45am so that we could make it to the temple by 8:15. The night before i had asked him to just this one time not to be late ( which I thought was impossible for him) but he was right on time and boy did he look cute or what! On the way to the temple I looked over and we both started crying. It was tears of excitement. Our dream was coming true and we couldn't believe it. We showed up at the temple and for some reason it look more beautiful then it ever had before to me. I couldn't believe that today was the day that i had been waiting for since i was a little girl. seeing all my siblings come out of the temple on their wedding day there wasn't anything i wanted more!

Our ceremony was amazing! We were so blessed to make so many loved ones that got to share that with us! After that we stayed on the temple grounds taking pictures for a good hour or two. We were both so ready to be done. After that we headed over to the reception center to make sure everything was coming along. We were so surprised to see that so much was done once we got there. Thanks to the 30 or more people that came to help! We sure do appreciate you all! The rest of the night went just how i dreamed! The cake, decorations, food, dancing, pictures turned out just how i wanted them.

Thank you to everyone that shared that special day with us! also especially for everyone that helped. I know for my mom and sister it had been their full time job for the past six months. but they sure made it look amazing!!
The next day we were so sad it was over. even Pete which a month before was telling me he couldn't wait till all this planning and wedding stuff was over with was sad for it to be over.
However Its been nothing but wonderful since. Being married to your best friend couldn't be any better. We have so much fun together and there is still no one that can make me laugh as hard as Pete does!
